Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

The Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Pediatric Gynecology & Urology Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient care
- Manage independent and joint clinics with a primary focus on the service
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and evaluations of patient care
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure current, evidence-based, holistic care is provided
- Provide leadership and participate in program development, evaluation, research, and clinical teaching activities
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan. You will integrate clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients.
Requirements:- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and a minimum of master's degree
- Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- PALS and ACLS certifications are considered an asset
