Fitness Department Manager

LIVunLtd, a leading provider of professional consulting and management services in Fitness and Wellness, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Training Manager to oversee the Fitness and Personal Training department at The Schwartz Reisman Centre.
About the Role:
The Personal Training Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the personal training team and the clients they serve, while exceeding member expectations in customer service and program development. The successful candidate will be motivated to grow the Personal Training Program under their own initiative, creating a professional environment that encourages coachable opportunities for the team and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, ensuring a positive experience and exceeding expectations.
- Leadership: Lead the personal training team to achieve operational excellence, new member integration, recruitment, development, and support.
- Operations: Manage the effective and efficient operation of all fitness floor operations, including scheduling and management of fitness floor staff, member incentive challenges, and equipment maintenance.
- Sales and Revenue: Achieve sales targets for personal training and manage expenses for the assigned departments.
- Financial and Administrative Activities: Maintain an ongoing relationship with the JCCs and LIVunLtd, ensuring financial and administrative activities are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- College or University degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience.
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification.
- A nationally recognized personal training certification.
- 2+ additional fitness certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory, management role.
- Proven track record of strong sales and client renewals.
- Demonstrated customer service leadership.
- Strong admin/operation skillset.
