About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Young Boy Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Costing
    • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of construction costs, including labour, materials, and equipment
    • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure accurate estimates and cost control
  • Proposal Development
    • Develop and submit comprehensive proposals to clients, including detailed estimates and project scope
    • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure proposals meet client needs and expectations
  • Cost Control and Monitoring
    • Monitor and control project costs to ensure they align with estimates and budgets
    • Identify and mitigate potential cost risks and opportunities
  • Communication and Collaboration

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
