Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement financial plans and budgets for assigned portfolios, ensuring alignment with Fraser Health's goals and objectives.
- Provide financial, business, and advisory services to senior executive members and their portfolios, including business case development and performance analysis.
- Lead the development of operating budgets and provide resource allocation recommendations to executive members and their senior staff.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for corrective action.
- Supervise and provide direction to assigned staff, including recruitment, mentoring, and professional development.
- Collaborate with executive members to ensure budgeting and resource decisions are consistent with Fraser Health's goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- CPA professional accounting designation.
- Five to seven years' recent related financial accounting experience in a large, complex healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other related accounting procedures/principles.
- Ability to lead, plan, direct, and implement processes.
- Ability to supervise and provide direction to others.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
