Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for implementing complex low-level systems used by thousands of game developers across EA.

You will work closely with game teams to support the use of Frostbite's core technologies, collaborate with other engineers and QA to identify problems and implement solutions, and help improve documentation, processes, and team culture.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training and professional experience. You should have proficiency with modern C++ and experience with systems and low-level debugging.

Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of professional software development experience and be familiar with source control systems such as Perforce, GitLab, or other similar tools.

Bonuses

Experience with game engine development, game console development, and working with multiple processor architectures (x86, ARM) is highly desirable.

This is a Hybrid/Onsite role, and you are expected to work in our Vancouver office at least 3 days per week.
