Acuity Brands is seeking a seasoned Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead our manufacturing engineering team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing world-class manufacturing processes that drive quality, productivity, and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing best practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste
  • Lead a team of engineers to design and implement manufacturing processes that meet quality and productivity requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that support new product development and technology integration
  • Manage projects related to automated production environment, including software and hardware maintenance and optimization
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators to measure operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, with 5+ years in a management position
  • Experience with test automation software and electronic boards assembly methods
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ability to implement best practices
  • Bilingual French and English
