Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract international students to York University's academic programs.
  • Deliver recruitment presentations and engage with international students, parents, and educators to promote York University's programs.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for international student recruitment.
  • Collaborate with faculty members, academic departments, and other stakeholders to develop and implement recruitment strategies.
  • Provide advising and counseling services to international students, including guidance on academic programs, admission requirements, and financial aid.
  • Travel internationally to attend recruitment fairs, conferences, and other events to promote York University's programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with international partners, including schools, universities, and government agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in international student recruitment regulations and policies.
Requirements:
  • 2 years' recent related experience in international student recruitment, educational liaison, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of secondary schools' liaison, Ontario university system admissions criteria, and Canadian and international educational systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and travel internationally.
  • Valid passport and a reliable vehicle.
