Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a related field
Key Responsibilities
  • Construct clay models and molds for casting concrete products.
  • Utilize blade or wire saws to accurately cut stone blocks to specified dimensions.
  • Document manufacturing details, including quantity, size, and type of products produced.
  • Set up and operate automated machinery for mixing, extruding, and cutting clay mixtures.
  • Adjust and operate single-function machines for mixing, drilling, grinding, and cutting concrete to precise specifications.
  • Build and repair wooden frames for molding concrete products.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products.
  • Safely transport products using forklifts, cranes, or hydraulic hoists.
  • Operate machines for grinding and polishing stone surfaces to achieve desired shapes and finishes.
  • Utilize sandblasting equipment for cutting inscriptions or decorative designs in stone.
  • Perform ongoing adjustments to machinery for optimal performance.
  • Position reinforcing rods or wire mesh within molds.
  • Prepare and mix slip for pottery and porcelain ware.
  • Fill molds with concrete and slip as required.
  • Operate stone-dressing lathes for sharpening grindstones.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings.
  • Manage kiln operations for baking clay products to specified hardness.
  • Drill holes in stone blocks or slabs according to specifications.
  • Utilize vibrating tables to settle concrete effectively.
  • Finish stone products with appropriate coatings and installations.
  • Tamp concrete using electric vibrators for proper settling.
  • Remove castings from molds with care.
  • Finish surfaces of castings using screeds or trowels.
  • Cut cured concrete pipe sections and assemble them as needed.
