About the Role
We are seeking a bilingual (French and English) Manager, Systems Engineering to lead a team of 30-50 systems engineers working on state-of-the-art satellite technology. As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a high-performing team, overseeing recruitment and development, and driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of 30-50 Systems Engineers
* Oversee recruitment, development, engagement, retention, and succession planning
* Support continuous improvement, modernization, and customer satisfaction
* Implement next-generation engineering tools, techniques, and procedures
Requirements
* Minimum 10 years in engineering management, preferably in the space industry
* Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, and people skills
* Experienced managing distributed teams
* Interest in resource management, negotiations, risk management, and financial reporting
* Fluent in French and English
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
