About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structures Technician to join our team at ITPS (Canada) LTD. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our maintenance operations, supporting ITPS and ITTC training requirements, and promoting a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Maintenance Operations: Ensure timely and efficient completion of work orders, and support ITPS and ITTC training requirements through maintenance operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Report safety and service difficulty issues to the Safety Management System clearly and concisely, and adhere to Safety Management guidelines and maintain clean and safe work environments.
  • Airframe Fabrication and Repair: Fabricate, install, and repair airframe sheet metal structures per engineering data and approved sources, and report any defects noted during maintenance.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately account for all maintenance tasks by updating logbooks and ensuring complete and accurate aircraft documentation.
  • Tooling and Publications: Maintain care and custody of tooling and publications associated with maintenance.
  • Client and Customer Support: Maintain strong relationships with ITPS clients and customers, providing necessary support.
Qualifications
  • College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance from a Transport Canada-approved educational institution or an equivalent educational/training background.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician or Maintenance Engineer, or other proven experience in the fabrication, installation, and repair of airframe sheet metal structures.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance operations and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Valid AME license is an asset.
  • Previous experience with the Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) within an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) is an asset.
