Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our team at LABEL PLUS GRAPHIC INC. as a key member of our production department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Press Operation: Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal print quality.
  • Ink Management: Fill ink fountains and control colour and viscosity to achieve desired results.
  • Setup and Operation: Set up press and operate at slow speed to check samples, and monitor regular press run for quality using computer control console.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  • Team Leadership: Direct press crew to set up, operate and shut down press, and provide guidance and support as needed.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, and team player.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
