About the Role

Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, and bulldozers to perform various tasks.
  • Pre-Operational Checks: Conduct thorough pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Accident Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate accident reports in a timely manner.
  • Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
  • Relocation: Willing to relocate for the position.
  • Relocation Costs: Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Willing to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Overtime: Overtime may be required.
