Position Summary
As a member of the RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) team, your role will encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Executing all necessary project RAMS tasks at various levels, including system, subsystem, or equipment.
  • Conducting RAMS analyses as per the relevant instructions, processes, and specific customer requirements.
  • Reviewing and/or formulating System Safety Assurance analyses and Safety Assurance Management plans in accordance with CENELEC standards, primarily EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, and EN50159.
  • Contributing to the evaluation of the product's RAMS performance and assisting in the early identification of essential RAMS requirements to meet the established RAMS objectives.
  • Reviewing and developing hardware/software analyses such as PHA, SHA, SSHA, IHA, and O&SHA utilizing safety analysis techniques, including FMECAs, FTA, ETA, RBD, and CCF.
  • Creating processes and procedures to establish and maintain Hazard Log Management tools.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • A Master's degree in engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Rail Safety and RAM.
  • Mandatory knowledge of Safety and RAM engineering processes, methods, and tools.
  • Familiarity with railway systems.
  • A proactive, adaptable personality with an open-minded approach.
  • Understanding of relevant standards such as EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, and EN50159.
  • A solid grasp of complex systems architectures, functional designs, schematics, and drawings.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external technical teams, including clients and vendors.
