We're seeking a seasoned Senior Risk Control Consultant to join our team, focusing on Equipment Breakdown risk control.
As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with clients, contractors, insurance brokers, and engineers to identify, evaluate, and quantify various risk factors, including equipment breakdown direct damage, business interruption, spoilage, and ammonia contamination.
Your expertise will be instrumental in creating risk improvement recommendations to help our clients manage their exposure to losses and enhance their risk management programs.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify opportunities to deliver innovative services and solutions through field Risk Control services, including EBI site surveys, remote assessments, desktop reviews, and claim investigations.
- Develop and implement industry risk control best practices, ensuring a high-quality service for our clients and partners.
- Collaborate with national Risk Control teams to ensure guidelines and service standards are current and well-implemented.
- Provide insurance support via Loss Prevention Reports, outlining recommendations for improvement, and prepare loss expectancies and presentations for insurers as needed.
- Support corporate and regional underwriting, marketing, and claims teams by preparing reports, conducting reviews, and risk control assessments.
- Participate in continuous learning and development activities to improve yourself and share knowledge with colleagues and clients.
- Minimum five years of progressive industrial experience in engineering, inspection, power operation, operation, or maintenance of boilers, pressure vessels, and machinery, or EBI insurance.
- Knowledge and experience in Equipment Breakdown risk control.
- Knowledge of ASME Codes and TSSA regulations in boilers and pressure vessels.
- Strong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, agility, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
