About the TeamThe Technology Audits team oversees Stripe's Technology and Compliance Audits. Our team comprises skilled technical program managers dedicated to ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. These program managers not only lead compliance and risk initiatives to fruition but also cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to address compliance inquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and conduct external audits, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Efficiently manage multiple audits across the organization.
- Collaborate with control owners to automate evidence collection processes.
- Work with teams to design and implement control monitoring systems for real-time compliance insights.
- Integrate new products and services into existing compliance audits, assisting with scoping, control implementation, and testing.
- Partner with Engineering teams to clarify ambiguous technical regulatory requirements into actionable tasks.
- Enhance compliance with product security requirements.
- Stay informed about upcoming security regulatory changes and collaborate with engineering teams for seamless integration.
- Support our customers by minimizing compliance burdens, enabling them to focus on business growth.
- Collaborate across Stripe to develop a robust communication strategy regarding security.
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements.

Essential Qualifications- 4+ years of experience in the security regulatory/compliance sector, with at least 2 years focused on leading Technology and Compliance assessments.
- Proven experience managing multiple Technology and Compliance assessments.
- In-depth knowledge of security practices within the payment industry and familiarity with other security regulations.
- Technical background in security and a comprehensive understanding of the digital economy.
- Strong grasp of security risks and threats, with experience in developing effective mitigation strategies.
- A proactive mindset to scale security compliance initiatives for Stripe's future.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Innovative thinking that challenges industry standards while ensuring safe and effective experiences.
- Resourceful and action-oriented, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to balance competing demands while addressing complex challenges.
