Job Title: Hairstylist

Zeko's Barber Shop Inc is seeking a skilled Hairstylist to join our team. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for cutting and styling hair, as well as providing other hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting.

Responsibilities:
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages
  • Supervise apprentices/students in training
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Apply hair extensions
  • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties
  • Maintain and order supplies
Requirements:
  • Barbering Trade Certification
  • Hairstylist Trade Certification
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
