About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hairstyling Specialist to join our team at Tommy Gun's Original Barbershop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, and styling hair, as well as providing custom hair and scalp treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultations: Meet with clients to discuss their hair care needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations for hair styles and treatments.
  • Hair Services: Cut, trim, and style hair using a variety of techniques and tools, including scissors, clippers, and chemical treatments.
  • Scalp Treatments: Analyze and treat scalp conditions, including dandruff, itchiness, and other issues.
  • Product Sales: Sell hair care products to clients, including shampoos, conditioners, and styling products.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a hair care setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

Our barbershop is a busy and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working space. As a Hairstyling Specialist, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, and may be exposed to loud noises and strong odors.
