About the Role

The Commodity Trader is a key member of our team at Doman Building Materials Group Ltd, responsible for buying and selling lumber and other selected product categories. This role requires excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with contacts at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Buy and sell lumber and other selected product categories
  • Drive excellent customer service and ensure order accuracy
  • Engage in ongoing dialogue with customers to assess current and projected needs
  • Respond to daily fluctuations in price and market conditions
Requirements
  • Knowledge of commodity lumber products in a wholesale, distribution or retail environment
  • Excellent English communication skills that display professionalism, good business acumen, and strong business ethics
