Mechanical Construction Project Manager - TRAVELING POSITION

Part Time / Full Time

Diamond Peak Recruiting is in search of a seasoned Mechanical Construction Project Manager to direct and oversee extensive mechanical construction initiatives throughout the United States. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in mechanical systems, substantial project management expertise, and a readiness to travel extensively to various job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Management: Spearhead the planning, execution, and finalization of large-scale mechanical construction projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and maintenance of superior quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and synchronize the efforts of project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal personnel. Promote a collaborative and constructive work atmosphere.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Formulate and manage project budgets, track spending, and implement cost-control strategies to guarantee financial effectiveness.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Create and uphold project timelines, liaise with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, and ensure prompt delivery of materials and services.
  • Quality Assurance & Safety: Guarantee compliance with all safety regulations and quality benchmarks. Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold project integrity.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in mechanical construction project management, with a proven history of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Travel: Willingness and capability to travel extensively across the United States as necessitated by project assignments.
  • Certifications: PMP, LEED, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
