Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Liberty Kitchen Regina. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
  • Load buspans and trays
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Package take-out food
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
