Job Summary

3 TIER SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and mainframe networks
  • Administer computer workstations and peripheral equipment, ensuring optimal performance and security
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users, resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and systems
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to meet business needs
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of networking software, hardware, and security
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
