Veterinary Assistant, Neurology, Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our Neurology department at Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital.
Responsibilities:- Care for our patients with feeding, walking, and providing a gentle voice of assurance
- Ensure animal housing or enclosure is clean, sanitary, and comfortable
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and pet parents with a compassionate and nurturing attitude
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including pet holding areas and common areas when required
- Provide excellent customer service skills, putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment
- Capable of independent initiative, adapting to changing situations, and prioritizing workload
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and maintain a high quality of care in a busy environment
- Will to learn more about pet nutrition, veterinary services, and updated medical office procedures
- Collaborative approach with a team focus while working with veterinary staff on various tasks and treatments
