Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical, and spiritual needs.
  • Work under the direction or supervision of the Unit Manager or designated supervisor to ensure safe and efficient care delivery.
  • Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent.
  • Certification from a Long Term Care Aide program.
  • Previous experience in a Long Term Care Facility or home care services is an asset.
