About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at 2526629 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our kitchen staff. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, and that all customers receive a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
