We are in search of a committed individual to take on the role of Merchandise Recycling Specialist. This position is essential in ensuring the efficient processing of donated goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload incoming donated items and categorize them into designated containers.
  • Measure and tag items accurately, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Oversee waste levels and operate compacting machinery as required.
  • Assess inventory levels and restock containers as necessary.
  • Safely dispose of non-sellable items and any hazardous materials.
  • Facilitate the transfer of goods between various departments.

Health and Safety Protocols:

  • Ensure a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to mitigate theft risks.
  • Promptly report any hazards or incidents.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Enter data into inventory management systems.
  • Support the organization of promotional sales events.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience operating forklifts or compactors is advantageous.
