Position Overview

Carmacks Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a skilled Grader Operator to join our team. This role involves operating heavy machinery to ensure the fine grading and finishing of road construction projects.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in operating graders.
Work Environment

The position is primarily outdoors, often in dusty conditions, and requires a willingness to travel to various job sites. Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment, specifically graders, for road construction tasks.
  • Perform pre-operational checks and maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and refilling tanks.
  • Secure special attachments to the machinery as needed.
Physical Demands

This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail. Candidates should be prepared for overtime and handling heavy loads.

Safety and Security

A driving record check (abstract) will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
