Job Summary

Gentea is seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Package take-out food and ensure it is presented in an appealing manner.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Inventory Management
    • Keep accurate records of food quantities used.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a well-stocked environment.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe workspace.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
