Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective EHS management systems to ensure compliance with Canadian regulations.
  • Conduct regular office EHS inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with the EHS team to develop and deliver training programs to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
  • Support the administration of health and safety claims and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain office risk assessments and participate in improving office ergonomics.
  • Support the implementation of EHS management systems and develop short communications, newsletters, and other materials to promote EHS awareness.

Requirements:

  • Completion of formal university or college education.
  • Experience between 1-3 years in Environmental, Health and Safety.
  • Excellent knowledge of Canadian EHS legislation and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
