Position Overview

With agility and precision, you will address the requirements of various production sectors and offer insights to refine existing systems.

Your contributions will empower the teams you support to tackle any technical obstacles and seamlessly translate their vision and creativity into exceptional gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • In a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing, you will:
  • Develop and uphold robust tools aimed at enhancing productivity and long-term integration for production teams.
  • Design tools tailored to specific requirements.
  • Debug systems and ensure the quality of tool code.
  • Identify and recommend technologies for both new tool development and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Work towards automating processes to facilitate a smooth workflow.
  • Collaborate with production team members (artists, designers, etc.) to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
  • Share insights and innovations with colleagues in the tools community.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements in programming and video game production.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software programming, preferably within the video game industry or related fields.
  • A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proficient in various programming languages, particularly C# and C++.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and resourceful, with a proactive approach to engaging with others.
  • Flexibility in organizing your work to adapt to changing circumstances.
