Revenue Protection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Investigator, Revenue Protection to lead our energy theft investigations and support the maintenance of company assets and revenue assurance. This role requires a strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to interact with law enforcement and potentially appear in court to represent our company.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough investigations and respond to law enforcement requests as required.
- Become familiar with our electric service territory, business, and technical operations.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service department to ensure effective revenue protection.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide training or education to staff regarding revenue protection activities.
- A diploma or degree in a related field, such as Law or Business, plus four to seven years experience in the electric industry with related field experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Previous law enforcement experience or demonstrated legal knowledge is considered an asset.
- Excellent investigation skills and the ability to exercise judgment and conduct investigations independently.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
