Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Investigator, Revenue Protection to lead our energy theft investigations and support the maintenance of company assets and revenue assurance. This role requires a strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to interact with law enforcement and potentially appear in court to represent our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations and respond to law enforcement requests as required.
  • Become familiar with our electric service territory, business, and technical operations.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service department to ensure effective revenue protection.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide training or education to staff regarding revenue protection activities.
Requirements
  • A diploma or degree in a related field, such as Law or Business, plus four to seven years experience in the electric industry with related field experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Previous law enforcement experience or demonstrated legal knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Excellent investigation skills and the ability to exercise judgment and conduct investigations independently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
