Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Welder will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints and drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in an industrial setting
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
