About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Shark 21 Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless look.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Measure and cut wallpaper and other fabric to fit walls and ceilings.
  • Advise clients on color choices and wall covering options to meet their needs.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages to access high areas safely.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work with a variety of materials.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
