- Data Analytics Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain a scalable and efficient data analytics pipeline in AWS, leveraging cloud-based services and technologies.
- Code Optimization and Reusability: Build reusable code and libraries for future use, optimizing services for maximum speed and scalability.
- Security and Data Protection: Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Web Services Development: Design and implement new functionality in our web services, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Test-Driven Development: Apply test-driven development practices, including writing and maintaining unit tests, to ensure high-quality code and robust testing.
- Agile Software Development: Participate in the full Agile software lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Technical Documentation: Write and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clear and concise communication of complex technical concepts.
- Incident Resolution: Resolve outages, field escalations, troubleshoot, and fix technical bugs, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
- Performance Benchmarking: Run performance benchmarking tests to ensure optimal system performance and scalability.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- 5+ Years of Software Development Experience: Proven experience in software development, with a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering principles.
- Agile Software Development Experience: 2+ years of experience with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- AWS Experience: 2+ years of experience building and deploying applications to AWS, with a strong understanding of cloud-based services and technologies.
- Technical Skills: Strong foundations in computer science, particularly data structures, concurrent programming, distributed services, databases, and cloud computing.
- Programming Languages: Experience with Python, Java, and other programming languages, with a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Cloud-Based Services: Experience with AWS serverless architectures, including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, and Glue, as well as Terraform and infrastructure as code principles.
- Test-Driven Development: Understanding of test-driven development practices, including writing and maintaining unit tests, and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
