About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Kelly Home Cleaning Services Inc. as a Janitorial Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Industrial Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris, dirt, and other refuse from various locations.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Cleaning and Disinfection: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, as well as clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Accessibility Accommodations: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, such as ramps and elevators, to ensure equal access for all individuals.
  • Settlement Support: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, assisting with their immediate settlement needs.
  • Youth Employment Support: Participate in programs that support youth employment, helping to provide opportunities for young individuals.
  • Indigenous Support: Participate in programs that support Indigenous people, promoting cultural understanding and equality.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week.
