Laborer Trainee

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer Probationary to join our team at Louisiana-Pacific Corporation. As a Laborer Probationary, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient production of quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in operating and monitoring equipment to maximize production and maintain a clean work area.
• Provide relief in operations jobs for breaks, vacations, or other absences.
• Perform fire watch duties and general cleaning tasks.
• Operate equipment and participate in EHS Programs.
• Maintain housekeeping of assigned areas and participate in improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Good problem-solving ability and time management skills.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability and willingness to be trained to perform various operations positions.
• Willingness to work various shifts as scheduled on a weekly basis and be available for additional work as needed.
• Interest in progressing into full-time operations positions and working up through the lines of progression as openings arise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' industrial experience.
