POSITION -

MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGIST

(PART TIME REGULAR)

A part-time regular position for a Medical Radiation Technologist is currently available within the Diagnostic Imaging Departments at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. This role will primarily focus on providing high-quality imaging services.

This position is now part of a union with OPSEU.

REQUIREMENTS:

• CMRITO Certification
• Membership with CAMRT and OAMRT is advantageous
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Capability to prioritize and handle competing demands
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role
• Competence to work both independently and in collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Consistent performance and attendance are mandatory
• Positive Reference Checks are required prior to commencement
• A Police Vulnerable Sector Check must be provided
• Completion of a Pre-Employment Health Assessment, including proof of full COVID vaccination, is necessary before hiring

WORKING HOURS:

• As per departmental scheduling
• Availability for all shifts is required
