About the Role

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. You will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Your expertise will contribute significantly to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols and standards.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures clearly and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • RDMS certification is required. Preference will be given to applicants who hold both RDMS and MRT certifications from CMRITO, as well as current CT certification or are willing to obtain it.
  • Experience with PACS systems is an asset.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
