About the role
We are seeking a skilled AEM Senior Software Engineer to join our team, contributing to large-scale enterprise commerce initiatives and playing a vital role for future clients with similar complexities (B2B commerce and digital transformation).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test user interfaces for customer-facing websites.
- Ensure the success of AEM enterprise-level integration and development efforts impacting both upstream and downstream legacy systems.
- Take ownership and accountability for delivering quality results that align with technical, business, and operational objectives.
- Create reusable code and libraries for future projects.
- Effectively translate user and business requirements into functional front-end code.
- Manage daily test preparation and execution, including defect reporting.
- Develop and deploy custom OSGI bundles.
- Assess existing and proposed applications, gathering and documenting user requirements.
- Oversee the execution of test cases, including reporting.
- Design, develop, and implement data-driven software solutions, focusing on mission-critical, data-centric systems that are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
- Define environment and resource requirements, managing their use on a daily basis for each release.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite products such as Audience Manager, Test and Target, Campaign Manager, Analytics, among others.
- Proficient in AEM workflows setup and maintenance, as well as User and Group Management.
- Strong skills in HTML5 and CSS3.
- Working knowledge of AEM 6.1 or later versions.
- Experience with Maven, SVN, MySql5.6.
- Proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of OSGI, Apache Sling, HTL, and JCR.
- Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies.
- Ability to comprehend and integrate HTML/JS/CSS developed by front-end developers.
- Experience with Spring MVC, J2EE, Hibernate.
- Familiarity with agile development processes using JIRA and Workfront.
