Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment issues to ensure efficient and accurate repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment, including hydraulic systems, engines, and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with our service management team to ensure excellent customer communication and satisfaction.
  • Document detailed repair stories and maintain accurate records of work completed.
  • Ensure a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

  • Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Certificate (Apprentice level 4 technician will be considered).
  • BC Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 with air brakes or Class 1 is considered an asset).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with experience in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and use of tools throughout the shift.
  • Proficiency in computerized scanning equipment and digital technology/mechanical software.
