About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Meat Department Associate at Dawson City General Store Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to customers on meat products and services
  • Assist in the display and merchandising of meat products
  • Greet customers and engage in conversations about their shopping needs
  • Prepare meat products for sale and ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic
Work Environment

Our store is a non-smoking, clean environment with on-site amenities and free parking available.

Language

English is the primary language spoken in this role.

Work Hours

40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
