About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Cupboard and Vanity Installer to join our team at SQ Construction. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation of kitchen cupboards and vanities in our clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Layout and Installation Planning: Determine the optimal layout and installation procedures for kitchen cupboards and vanities, taking into account the specific needs of each client.
  • Measurement and Marking: Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Worksite Preparation: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and move objects weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate punctuality, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a related field is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Environment: Work on-site, completing installations in clients' homes, with a typical workweek consisting of 30-40 hours.
