Job Title: Clinical Dietitian

Concordia Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing optimal nutritional care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Care: Provide personalized nutrition care to clients, taking into account their medical history, dietary needs, and lifestyle.
  • Education: Educate clients, staff, and students on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and wellness.
  • Quality: Ensure high-quality nutrition care by staying up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
  • Research: Participate in research studies and projects to improve nutrition care and outcomes.
  • Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff.
Requirements:
  • Two years of clinical nutrition experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutritional Sciences or a related field from an accredited Canadian university program.
  • Graduate of a recognized dietetic internship program.
  • Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Manitoba.
  • Membership with the Dietitians of Canada (DC) is recommended.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical nutrition therapies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and manage physical and emotional demands.
