About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Landscape Architect to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers, and Planners on internal and external projects.
  • Developing creative technical solutions and preparing visually compelling graphic presentations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of conceptual design, design development, and construction documents, including details and specifications.
  • Managing multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Assisting in the preparation of design briefs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Managing client and stakeholder expectations, consultant coordination, and approvals.
  • Ensuring project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements.
  • Assisting with contract administration and site inspections.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Landscape Architect.
  • Membership or Associate Membership of OALA or eligibility for membership.
  • Eligibility for Federal enhanced security clearance.
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Civil3D, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft 365 environment.
