- Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, appraise, and review job contributions for employees and contractors
- Estimate materials and labor, prepare proposals, and use pricing techniques
- Analyze data, sales, and profit on Excel, and prepare monthly reports
- Understand tax calculations, WCB, and collection of remittance for employees
- Forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- Manage staff and contractor levels, wages, hours, and contract labor to revenues
- Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review and approval responsibility for all operations employees and contractors
- Run a safe, injury-free workplace
- Manage relationships with key operations vendors and contractors
- Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps on-site
- Clear and effective communication skills to satisfy duties for a various range of clients, craftsmen, and contractors
- Ability to conduct interviews, negotiate, and liaise effectively with clients and contractors
- Fluent to advanced English proficiency
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or a technical certification related to construction, service maintenance of buildings
- Effective numerical literacy
- 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
- Occasionally weekends
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
- Repair and renovation: 2 years (preferred)
