Nurse Practitioner

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a long term care setting. As a key member of our interdisciplinary health team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and collaborate with colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare practitioners during examinations and treatments
- Monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in their condition
- Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care
- Deliver health education programs
- Operate or monitor medical equipment
- Provide nursing care
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
- Experience in long term care an asset
