Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, producing high-quality images, and assisting radiologists with procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients
- Assist radiologists with procedures and ensure patient safety
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MRI technology and its applications
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of one year MRI experience or completion of a recognized MRI program with a three-month clinical placement
- CAMRT MRI certification
- Certification in contrast injection
- Ability to lift coils up to 32lbs, bend, and turn without restriction
- Demonstrated commitment to Osler's values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation, and Collaboration
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and work record
- Ability to travel between and work at all Osler sites
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with varying shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
