Truck Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Supervisor to join our team at MARSHAL'S CANADIAN EXPRESS INC.
Job Summary:The Truck Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of truck drivers, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of driver hours, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve driver productivity and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve overall operations.
- Provide training and coaching to drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in the transportation industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
The Truck Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:The hours of work will be 30 to 70 hours per week.
