Position: Legislative Advisor
Department: Justice
Work Schedule: 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counsel to the government on legislative initiatives
  • Draft legislation and regulations with precision
  • Deliver high-quality legal support
  • Engage collaboratively with various ministries
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor is mandatory
  • Active membership with the Law Society of Alberta
  • At least 2 years of experience in legislative drafting
