What to anticipate as an Apprentice Technician?
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing performance issues using diagnostic tools and advising customers on the work completed, overall vehicle condition, and recommended maintenance schedules and repairs.
- Conducting routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, lubrications, and tune-ups.
- Maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself and your colleagues.
- Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
- Regularly maintaining mechanical service equipment.
- Taking pride in ensuring customer safety and satisfaction.
What is the work culture like at Fountain Tire?

- This position requires the ability to frequently lift weights of approximately 25KG.

What qualifications are necessary to succeed?
- Candidates must be at least a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice or a Licensed Automotive Service Technician, with preference given to those holding a Red Seal designation.
- A valid driver's license allowing for the independent operation of a passenger vehicle is required.
- A satisfactory driver's abstract is necessary to ensure road safety.
