Position Overview: As a Boom Truck Operator, you will work in conjunction with a delivery assistant to enhance the efficiency of our drywall distribution service. The objective is to successfully deliver between 500 and 700 sheets of drywall daily.
Work Schedule: Full-time, typically 3 or 4 days per week, including every other Saturday.
Compensation: $28.04 to $32.36 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the boom truck and crane effectively.
- Verify the accuracy and organization of delivery packages.
- Secure loads using appropriate straps.
- Position materials at designated customer locations.
- Handle and transport materials, which may be heavy.

- Accurately complete various forms (safety checks, material returns, etc.).
Work Environment:
- Initial training will be conducted with an instructor to learn crane operation.
- Support is available from instructors, dispatchers, and fleet managers during deliveries.
- Daily tasks will vary, including deliveries to construction sites and private residences.
- Your safety is paramount; personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
- A diverse range of equipment is available for various delivery scenarios.
- Ability to lift loads up to 50 lbs is required.
- Frequent loading and unloading of the truck will be necessary.
- Round trips between the store and delivery sites will be part of the daily routine.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Our fleet consists of over 60 well-maintained trucks.
Candidate Requirements:
- Possession of a Class 1 or 3 driver's license with FM endorsement and a clean driving record.
- Excellent physical condition to manage the delivery of 500 to 700 sheets of drywall daily.
